Itinerary Overview
Day 1 — Board Your Flight
Time to board your international flight to Athens! This is an overnight flight which puts you into Greece the following day.
Day 2 — Welcome to Greece!
Upon checking into your hotel, the group will receive a short orientation and we take you to the National Archeological Museum. After the visit, we will return to the hotel for a brief rest, then transfer to Mount Lycabettus where we will have dinner together.
Day 3 — Acropolis and Temple of Poseidon
Today we visit the Temple of Poseidon, have lunch at a seaside taverna, visit the Acropolis, and the Acropolis Museum, and round out our day with dinner at a famous Bouzouki restaurant.
Day 4 — Athens to Ikaria
This morning affords you some free time in the Plaka. In the early afternoon we transfer to Athens airport for our flight to Ikaria. We check into a beautiful hotel, which will be our home for four nights. Dinner this evening is on your own.
Day 5 — Monastery and Cooking Class
The highlights of today’s Blue Zone itinerary include a visit to Theoktisti Monastery, Karimalis Winery and Farmhouse restaurant where we enjoy lunch and a tour, then dinner in Armenistis.
Day 6 — Hike, Honey Shop, Tea Shop & Raches
Grab your hiking gear as we transfer to Raches and hike to Nas Beach (2-3 hours) or Livadi Beach (1.5 - 2 hours). After the hike we visit Melissavet Honey Shop, have lunch on our own in Armenistis, and have an herbal tea tasting at Melia Tea Shop in Raches.
Day 7 — Forest Walk and Winery Tour
Today we’ll spend time in nature with a guided forest walk with time for mediation, followed by a tour of Tsantiris Winery and some free time to explore. Tonight is dinner in Raches.
Day 8 - Ikaria to Athens
We check out of our hotel and transfer to Ikaria airport and fly to Athens. From there we visit Corinth and Nafplion. We check in tonight (for two nights) at a beautiful hotel in Athens.
Day 9 - Epidaurus and Corinth
Today we transfer to Epidaurus and spend the morning there. We have lunch and then visit Ancient Corinth, returning to Nafplion for a free evening at your leisure.
Day 10 - Mycenae, Nemea and back to Athens
This morning we visit Mycenae before a tour of Nemea Winery. A farewell lunch in the vineyard is shared before we transfer to Athens, spending our final night with time to enjoy the Plaka.
Day 11 - Departure
We say our goodbyes and transfer to Athens airport for flights home.
Meet Your Guide - Jennifer Neill
Jennifer Neill has been involved in the wellness industry for over 30 years and holds advanced certifications in Pilates, yoga, Tai-chi, Chi walking, breathwork and forest therapy among others.
Jennifer’s expertise involves creating programs that support healthy aging and whole-body vitality. She has guided older adults on the Camino de Santiago in Spain and developed community programs grounded in research that help people feel immediate, lasting shifts in body and mind.
